Jeff, I saw that site quite some time ago when F & E was opening a location near my town. Some of the claims are true, i.e. that you can really find bad meats/old stuff at F & E. However, at the same time, you can find unparalleled freshness (in the supermarket world) in some meats/produce. It’s a very weird combination, so you simply have to be cautious of what you buy there. All in all, though, F & E isn’t quite on par with Trader Joes in many respects, but sometimes you can score on a good piece of fish or steak that would truly be impossible to get at most stores.
